House Democrat proposes police registration for neighborhood watchmen
Representative Sheila Jackson Lee wants to introduce a bill which will cut Fed funding to any state which will not registering their neighborhood watch groups and which will not replace their "stand your ground" laws with
"duty to retreat" laws.
Now, normally I don't agree with Representative Lee (Economics in general, Apollo 11 landing on the Moon and not Mars, etc.) but here I have to agree with her.
DO IT.
The People no longer want your misgovernance, your threats, your blackmail, or your bribes.

Nothing detrimental to Travyon would ever see the daylight while the trial was on schedule. And, now, it appears that these background checks are too embarrassing to be shown.
The defense had to know, but would have been foolish to try to demonize the 'victim', even in the press. They argued the case upon the law, and nothing but the law, and that was a stroke of genius.
The Lurkers thing always caught my attention. Why aren't they just plain "visitors'?
Profiling???
So, no effect except more paperwork, more license fees, more gov jobs, hey that is what matters . .
'I would like to have a gun license, please '
'Do you solemnly promise never to use it?'
'Sure. I'll keep it in my lunch box as prescribed in the regulations '
You do know that 'Stand Your Ground' had NOTHING to do with this case? And that the law was never cited by the defense?
And that in Florida, the black minority community has statistically benefited more from this law than any other race?
Please take a deep breath, and think about what you wish.
Sorry, Eud. It read like you supported her flaming the Stand Your Ground laws.
My bad!
