I've said this before but feel like saying it again. I am sick to death of women and their petty, whining complaints. They should do a tour of Ethiopia or Afghanistan and gain a new perspective.
Attention! Misogyny redefined to agree with Australian leader Julia Gillard's usage. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/news/art... "Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard's use of the word "misogyny" in attacking Tony Abbott has prompted a recasting of its meaning in the national dictionary. ... The editors of the Macquarie Dictionary now plan to broaden its definition from strictly meaning a hatred of women to also denote an entrenched prejudice against women."
Is anyone really surprised at the moral character of the Janus-faced one's White House? Obama is a fake, a fraud, a phony. Even his Marxist makers, the likes of Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, are embarrassed for claiming him.
However, Obama is a symptom of a diseased society, not the sole cause, not even close.
I'm voting Gary Johnson, who is a courageous start toward reversing the blight on America, which began long, long, long before Obama was born.
Hello WesleyMooch, Janus-faced… An excellent reference… I had to look that one up. It was an obscure reference lost in the fog of my aging memory with only a vague recollection of having heard it before. I wish I was as comfortable as you are voting third party. I respect adherence to principle. I only hope you are voting in a state where it will be seen as a statement without exacerbating our problems. Either way you may hold your head up high. Today in this nation lacking principles, I doubt if a few stalwart principled voters will make the difference. Unfortunately recent history has shown it unlikely that a man of honor completely unblemished by actions of political expediency will win… Pragmatism is sometimes a curse! Regards, O.A.
Good to hear from you! A strong Gary Johnson 2012 run (5% of the vote) is necessary to earn matching funds for 2016, which would put the Libertarian Party on a par or better with Perot's run. (And I don't buy the "argument" that because billionaire Perot failed, we should quit and live under the two-party tyranny forever, "ha ha ha to mere millionaire Gary Johnson's try)." Defeatism? No way in hell, man, not for me.
By the by, if you tune in to http://prisonplanet.tv/news/index.php (Alex Jones' Infowars Telethon), you will hear Greg Palast's speaking of "silent partner" Ann Romney's making $115 million as Mitt's take of the auto industry bail-out.
Mooch
P.S. Alex is taking calls now during the telethon, now would be a good time to try calling in ( 1-800-259-9231 ) to plug Atlas Shrugged: Part II and watch the theater numbers spike in coming days (yes, as a result of your call). If enough of us call in, we'll see a significant spike over weeks, not just days.
Perot's run wasn't failed. He bailed, betraying his supporters, for some reason that we will likely never know. I agree we should not accept two party tyranny, but I don't think working within the political system has a snowball's chance in hell of success.
Perhaps Perot went Galt...his own form of going Galt. Out of the public eye. He spent a boat load of HIS money on ads and t.v. time slots to explain some good sound economics to the American public and they didn't listen to reason, soooo....... he did the skeedaddle. Later dudes!
Thats one possibility, except that he exited when his poll possibillities were continually moving up, more and more people were accepting his message, yet he bailed. That's the opposite of Galt's story. Galt had very good reason to exit. Perhaps Perot did, too, but like 9-11, there has not been a satisfactory rational explanation to date.
I hear you. It would be nice to have more viable choices in the future.
I was watching per the link you placed under a different heading. I’m not sure what to think about Ann Romney’s capitalizing. Generally I support any capitalist venture. What I do know, is none of this would be of any concern if the government didn’t get involved with bailouts. Regards, O.A
I suspect one would need either a) to do one's own research, or b) buy Greg Palast's new book, to learn the details of how a group of billionaires extorted us for their part (four billion dollars) of a twelve billion dollar ransom for the entire auto industry's steering column supply, which this billionaire cartel held back from the industry, after buying out GM's parts division, Delphi. According to Palast's research, "silent partner" Ann Romney's cut was $115 million. All of this to say, beyond the fact that the two-party system is a tyranny, I see evidence that both Obama and Romney are crooks, but none that Johnson is. They're cut from the looter cloth, and Johnson is not.
Yes, I would like to investigate further, fact check etc. I do not know the details of, or the veracity of those disseminating the story. I am afraid I was interrupted several times during the broadcast interview so I am at a loss and therefore I feel unqualified to express an opinion. One thing strikes me though, if there is something illegal or unethical here considering the main stream media’s propensity to demonize Romney while supporting Obama I would think they would jump all over it.
I have little familiarity with Prison Planet, Alex Jones, or Greg Palast. What do you know of them? Do you trust them completely for the unvarnished truth? Prison Planet looks like a site that promotes conspiracy theories. You know I am skeptical in this regard and require a smoking gun. My grandfather swore the moon landing was a conspiracy. I didn’t buy that one then, but many did… Regards, O.A.

If you think voting for Johnson will somehow stop that, go right ahead.
