Shockwave stops working frequently.....why?
I have issues with shockwave. I get error messages saying that it's stopped working, and sometimes the computer just freezes while opening a web page. Does this mean my 7 year old Lenovo is having problems, or is it just a shockwave issue and if so can that be fixed? Is it a coincidence that after 7 years I suddenly start getting lots of emails from Lenovo about 'deals' on a new computer?
Thanks for the help.

- 1Posted by gonzo309 10 years, 10 months agoI would suggest upgrading to Windows 7 from Vista. Many of the bugs were fixed. My laptop still uses XP and my wife's is Win 7. I won't go to Win 8 for at least another year; don't want to be Micro$oft's guinea pig. 8-)Mark as read | Parent | Best of... | Permalink|

It doesn't help that I usually have ~25 tabs open in Firefox at the same time. 8-) I have the latest version of Shockwave and Flash. I just click continue and wait for it to catch up to itself. A newer computer might help but it's not worth it to me for what I do. My wife needs a faster laptop because she is always on Farmville 2.Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink|
