Ed Snider was an engine of creation in several enterprises, not the least of which was The Atlas Society. He will be missed.
He lived a long and full life by his own standards and expectations. It is our immense loss that he did not live to experience the coming Singularity.
Several times over the years, I have cited his "50th Anniversary" speech. I was fascinated to learn that he came to Atlas Shrugged on a recommendation from Peter O'Malley. We never tout the O'Malleys, father (Walter) and son (Peter) of the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers.
