While I agree with the conclusions-I am dismayed in the study, patent rights are included as a regulation. AAAAHHHHHH! We have emails out to the authors for clarification on the convoluted sentence explaining the "regulation." and the author of the article is completely boneheaded about patents (other things he's written).
Other than that, very interesting statistics and provocative conclusions. I'll report back if we hear from the authors of the study.
