Stop Common Core rally Denver

I went to a Stop Common Core rally in Denver today. It was a rewarding day. The organizer of this event was Anita Stapleton whose website for Stop Common Core Colorado is stopcommoncorecolorado.webs.com.

I am a public school teacher. How can I claim to be libertarian and a public school teacher? Well I can explain that elsewhere but in short it's my 2nd career.
About common core....for me a social studies teacher of AP gov, Econ, and civics I find it pretty easy. There are plenty of great primary and secondary sources authored by Spooner, Mises, Bastiat, and Nock. If I were a math or science teacher I would be upset. What's pathetic is for our math dept the state is sending them the lessons they demand be taught. Not sure if it's all or just 9th and 10th grade.
I love the gig, and I always tell the students to doubt me and learn for themselves.
