Here's how I'm seeing America right now. It's like we're all walking around in a giant parking garage at night. Parking garages at night can be a dangerous place. There's a LOT of graffiti on the walls too: "Protect your freedoms!" "Pay attention!" "What's happening in Europe WILL happen here if you don't stop it!" "Your dollar is dying" "Be responsible for YOU", "Who is John Galt?", "Freedom isn't free." "got Bill of Rights?", "Allah Akbar"...(I don't care if I spelled that wrong). The vast majority of us are wearing headphones turned up to 10 and looking at our iphones, texting, looking at pictures etc etc and NOT paying attention to the evil that is lurking among us on every level (see what I did there...every level) waiting to take what's ours. Some of us ARE aware of these evils. We are not distracted by our toys and don't feel safe covering our ears..we want to hear what's going on around us. Of course evil is attracted to the easy targets first, those who are oblivious and won't put up much of a fight, the element of surprise and all that... but WE see it and we're jumping up an down yelling, trying to warn them of the dangers that are on their heels, but they don't hear us...they don't even see us they are so distracted by their gadgets. I fear the only thing that will get their attention IS the evil...while it's smothering them. The writing is on the wall! Why won't they read it?
we liked you before you were a producer. Ok, is it just me or is graffiti written in a different language? cuz I am unable to read anything people are spray painting on the walls. sometimes I see arrows and hearts and individual letters-but no english words! I'm talking US now
yea, well, if you are trying to "influence" sheeple, keep it in their accepted subtitles. whoa, way to threaten! you'll do what you need to do, but you're enjoyin it here-don't lie
I think it's to mark "their" territory, not to communicate or influence their sheeple peers per se. Like dogs pissing every 20 feet... this is mine...and this is mine...ope that's somebody elses...but THIS is mine... (please read the dog speak like Scooby Doo.)
I never lie...I like the company. (That includes you, LS.)
I watched the deleted scenes of 'The Book of Eli' last night, and there was a scene of Claudia (blind) silently reading the braille bible with a very telling reposed smile on her face, seated next to the death bed of Carnegie (Gary Oldman). That fits her refusal to help him when he finally got the book, and that it was worthless to him without her help. This scene should have been in the final release, although her payback was obvious in the movie as edited.
Can't find a video? You Tube probably took it down. And yes, my idea of the methods of punishment for those 'peace-loving' thugs......... will remain in my mind. I'm not willing to be arrested by a government that loves it's enemies & persecutes it's own people, for posting thoughts on deterrent & retribution.
wow. children savages. did they learn to treat others that way in their peaceful houses of God? also, the soonest police could have gotten there would be what-5 minutes? perfect example of how you have only seconds to defend yourself.
It's disgusting isn't it but what the hell can we do about it? At the risk of sounding like a Commie, what Britain needs is a 'peoples police force'. I think the UK needs a few 'caped crusaders' like I mentioned last night. The police would have a harder time identifying someone in a spiderman outfit, & it would send a powerful message to government (one which will be ignored - but criminalised) & probably give hope to the British people.
V for Vendetta! where I grew up, if you attacked defenseless girls, there would be 30 guys beating the crap out of you and tossing your refuse in the river. the sheer boldness. amazing. can you have tasers? you obviously can have cricket bats. I kinda liked the idea of the turkish rebels-of taking light bulbs and filling them with paint. throw those in an attacker's face
I've heard there's supposedly a way to convert a mobile (cell phone to you) into a taser. I don't know if they're illegal actually (probably are), must look that up.
Hard to keep paint filled light bulbs on your person just in case though... and so they get hit with paint...they wipe it off and then REALLY come after you...
I'm a cigar man but a pipe could be useful. When I see the whites of their eyes I can club them to death with it.
I'd love to see the headlines. "Poor defenceless peace-loving Muslim fundamentalist savaged by unidentifiable creature with monocle & pipe wearing a dodgy catsuit." No one would ever believe the poor sods.
joss, you're kinda sucking at the super hero thing. you do have that mad eye, that might come in handy. But no special grip gloves, no jet packs, no "s" on the chest, no pointy ears, no exploding muscles, no retractable claws-we're still at stretchy houndstooth fabric. it'll be itchy in the rain
well, I think it best to keep your hands free for freedom fighting. maybe one of those umbrella hats. If it was windy, it might give you some lift as long as it's tied under the chin
Ok. That was just stupid. They are kids. Kids at that age don’t need an excuse to fight. Calling them “gang members” doesn’t make it so; it just makes for a bias byline.
boys attacking girls and hitting them in the face? They live there and know the gangs, I'm pretty sure. btw, MY kids did not need excuses to fight. They were busy being productive, not hanging out waiting for victims at bus stops
I say bias because you have no idea who those young boys are. They may be Hindus. Those other kids could have started it first before the camera was rolling. The girl was screaming and cursing throughout. All of them, not just the white kids could be considered UK kids, no? To point out a mosque in the back and expect others to jump to conclusions is pandering to a group of people I would consider to stupid for my time. The whole site panders to those who want a reason to hate irrationally. Am I the only one who went through middle-school where everybody piled on? I say they are just kids. Trying to introduce this video as evidence of a muslim-on-non-muslim crime is reaching for a missing rung. That site stinks of low-intelligence.
Mimi, I think you've made a fair point in that the asian kids 'may' have been Hindus, & 'may' not have been the instigators of violence - although I suspect they were. I can also understand a website with a name like barenakedislam would suggest it's purpose is to instigate witchhunts. It's likely that some who visit the site will be looking for another excuse to arm themselves with hatred & (forgive the term) go paki-bashing, which is mindless racism. I see it as an unapologetic information site designed to be a bit of a shocker & a wake up call for those who are unsure of the gruesomeness of Islam. Had the website had blatant racist leanings, I wouldn't have posted the article in the context that I did.
there were arrests made in the case. Here is an excerpt from 5 days ago in the Commentator: "Counter-terrorism expert and The Commentator Contributing Editor Ghaffar Hussain said: "This incident will most likely turn out to be a local petty squabble between gangs of youths with too much time on their hands. There could be a racial dimension, however, it is highly unlikely the religion is a motivating factor for either side. The over-emphasising of the religion in such cases, and consequent politicisation of common crime, is a worrying trend and one that is being increasingly adopted by the far-right to further demonise British Muslim communities".' Here's where I raise my eyebrows. The counter terrorism expert, who is most likely muslim, accuses the far right of demonizing British Muslim communities. Perhaps, but whenever I hear implicit in phrases like that "move along nothing to see here, just kooks spouting off conspiracy" I take a second look. The article goes on to say that authorities tweeted that children stay out of the area, and it looked as though people rallied at the site. Clearly, tensions are very high. If there wasn't huge concern, I just don't see people getting out of the chairs in front of the telly to show their anger, unless there was some truth to the tensions. Ultimately, GB has some big problems on their hands, and I bet people would be less fearful if they could carry guns.

I didn't want to ruin that relationship...just pretend that I was somebody else! ;-)

Seriously though, I can't think of another way for a person to defend his (or another's) rights & avoid prosecution in (once Great) Britain.

The only thing missing is a wicker basket with Toto inside....
And I am not referring to the lack of private gun ownership....
Are your Progressives any different from our progressives?
