Well that was umm.... eh ehm... interesting. Hopefully competence will pay us a visit in LA. Thanks for your patience everyone. Although you couldn't tell from watching me tote around my Macbook, the Premiere went fantastically well. No promises but, I'll see what I can do about getting another clip ready for release tomorrow.

I think we should break the USA up into two countries.
We will take the American flag, the military, the guns and the gold.
The liberals can have the illegal aliens, the Hollywood movie stars, the Gay guys and the welfare people.
And they had better not come crying to us, when the big S hits the fan.

Hopefully the web will be alive with posts regarding the movie. So we can get to work. It is nice hanging out in the Gulch but i'm ready to roll up my sleeves and "punch a mud slinger in the mouth."

Wow. To those who didn't see John Aglialoro broadcasting live from his Macbook, remotely and wirelessly, it was moderately impressive. Not what he had planned, nor what I hoped to see, but to stream live video to the world from a consumer device is something at which to marvel.

  That wasn't John Aglialoro BTW. That was Scott Desapio otherwise known as sdesapio here in the Gulch. Google John Aglialoro, there are plenty of pictures of him out there.

  I've been known to be a betting man from time to time. I fear that Obama will get re-elected and the house and senate will ride the straigth ticket voters back to the majority. Atlas most assuredly will Shrug if that happens.

This scene just blew me away. I had no complaints over part one except that some of Matthew Marsden's lines weren't delivered all that well. I think he was fighting the accent and it made him sound like he wasn't being serious. The scene i'm talking in particular is the one where James and Dagny are in the Limo heading to a function when James tells Dagny that she is going to debate Bertram.
(Sorry went off on a trangent)
Production quality looks phenomonal. and Jason has that gritty, i'll do what I want swagger to him. Can't wait!

  There was a professional video crew hired to manage the UStream broadcast. They failed and Scott had to grab his macbook just so the event could go on. There will be another live broadcast during the L.A. Premiere in two days. Perhaps they'll have another scene to share with us?

    If I would have had 10 friends over to watch this "Movie Premiere", I would really have to go underground. I did make four phone calls so I'll have to stay in my home with the curtains closed for at least a month.

I agree that a move like that would be almost as stupid as the incompetent fool who screwed things up, but it isn't MY movie so I don't know what the owners are doing beyond what is advertised.
        
        The funny part, when 6:30 PM came and went, I expected to hear something like this...."Ladies and gentlemen,. You will not be seeing a live stream from the Atlas Shrugged Part II Movie Premiere in Washington D.C. I have taken it over. For fifty-five years you've been asking "Who is John Galt?"
