Should we shift focus in the 2016 General Election?

This year we will vote for ALL voting seats (and 6 non-voting seats,) in the house and one third of the seats in the Senate. If we shift the focus from the Presidential Race to replacing the Incumbents in Congress who messed things up in the first place, do you think (a) it would help bring new blood in, and (b) it would send a stronger message to the politicos that Americans in general are fed up with a broken system?

I live in a state where the Presidential Candidates are all but decided by the time we have the Primary election, so I really don't have a choice it's usually the lesser of two evils. I do think that if we can generate enough interest in ousting all incumbents, whether it's in the primary or the general election it does send a clear message that things need changing.

If you replace the Republicans with Democrats and give them control of the House and Senate, it will not go well.

If you select different candidates at the primary level it might work.

Depends how strongly they control elections in your State and precincts. But I'd say go for it . It is the Rejection Elections when all is said and done and open season on those you described.

As an extra comment having an open election might be useful these pre ordained two faces of one political philosophy controlled events are the reason for Rejection Election being coined by who ever did it.
