Suicide bombers are martyrs and heroes in their own eyes and in the eyes of their compatriots. They are willing to give their lives in the defense of their highest value -- their country and its people. Telling them there are no virgins waiting for them would be useless.
Sending our troops abroad into harm's way is cowardly. Our war mongers use them as sacrificial offerings while sitting in the comfort of their offices and conference rooms. Attacking innocents with drones is just a video game to them. But as a wise man said, "The only way to win is not to play."
Stop all wars now. Otherwise you will never see an end to suicide volunteers.
As for The Blaze, it is a rabid pro-Christian rag. Always read their material with propaganda radar on full alert.

Yes, war is hell with unintended consequences and yes beware of the military industrial complex. But sometimes it is necessary to protect ourselves which requires military intervention. The stronger the military the less likely we will be attacked. I lived through the cold war and my father was a Navy pilot trained to deliver nuclear bombs. Thank God it never happened. The Russians knew they would be wiped off the planet if they started a war. Today we are perceived as weak. Political correctness has put us in a very vulnerable position.

I am not a pacifist, and don't agree with puzzlelady on that part of her comment, but the 'patriotism' of fighting against different sects of the same religion is abundant: The Catholic Albigensian Crusade, the wars between the various Protestant religions and between Catholic and Protestants in the 17th century are non-Islamic examples. In all cases, 'politics' and economics were mixed with religion in the agendas of the generals and heads of state who lead those wars. Shiites and Sunnis are part of this general trend of humans wanting their way to be right at all cost.

The second eliminated problem is that of communicating directly with and equipping the attackers. All done by internet blogs designed to incite to violence. Even the 'masterminds' have no clue where their humanoid creations will strike. The US Government made sure the wherewithal is readily available by declassifying the various devices and formulas.
A World War II era design works just as well as a super technoid production and the parts are far easier to obtain. Thanks to one of our former Presidents. Even today one can find the website and download within seconds from any computer using any phony name. No I'll not give it up here.....but only a half wit couldn't gain the knowledge within the hour. That means it's truly randomn and truly targeting groups, masses of humans indiscriminately.
Oceans, the military, technical devices will stop what has come out of Pandora's box. Just dumb luck and the penchant for the assailants to hide within very large groups of people. City folk are 'ucked. but country folk are not completely safe. It's all percentages.
What isn't percentages is the reaction of home grown terrorists.
For sure the government will seize on any incident, make it a crisis and use it ....to clamp down on citizens. What are they doing FOR you. Limiting your ability by carefully making sure profiling is not allowed and other useful tools which require something called probable cause while they can subject you to instant arrest without reason under the suspicion of enabling terrorism rules of Obama.

I am so done with islam and muslims. So long as a person believes in the islamic religion, I will conclude that they have no issue with the intolerance and violence that is inherent in it. Therefore, why would I want to have ANYTHING to do with them? At this point, I stay away from muslims, wouldnt hire them or trade with them knowingly. Politically incorrect, but I really dont care about that.
