Your suggestions are welcome for Rewards in a Papa Possum Kickstarter.
As some (most) of you might know, I have been working on a collection of my Papa Possum satires.
Unfortunately, I was not able to finish it during the time I had projected.
I came close, but not close enough.
Trying to lock down a new software contract has also been a huge bust.
Tough times call for creative solutions.
Seeing the overwhelming response Atlas Shrugged Part 3 had with its Kickstarter, and seeing Scott's post about how even an entitled Marxist managed to get his project funded, I thought I'd look into a Kickstarter of my own.
Project: Finish the book and keep the bills paid while I doing it.
Expected time: 1 – 2 months, then an additional 8 weeks for the publisher to approve the final pdf.
Target amount: $3000.00
If you think this might have a shot, I'd appreciate your input: what rewards would entice you and others to kick in?
Here's a tentative list I've made up.
I'm still investigating prices, so these rewards are not final.
All shipping included.
Rewards do not stack.
$1.00 – All Kickstarter updates, plus my gratitude.
$2.00 – A Papa Possum business card signed and numbered.
$5.00 – The Papa Possum satire of your choice printed, signed, and numbered + Papa Possum business card signed and numbered.
$10.00 – The Papa Possum satire of your choice professionally printed on parchment, signed, and numbered + Papa Possum business card signed and numbered.
$15.00 – The Papa Possum collection “Libellus Primus Saturarum / Little Book of Satires”.
$25.00 – The Papa Possum collection “Libellus Primus Saturarum / Little Book of Satires” signed and numbered + Papa Possum business card signed and numbered.
Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks much,
Rick (Eudaimonia)
