No spoilers. Saw this with a Disney group 7PM on 12/17. Very true to form. Good humor. New characters and some old ones. EFX look terrific. John Williams brings back his iconic themes and adds 5 new ones. JJ Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan have not let fans down on the story side. Lots of surprises. See it.

Didn't notice the PC that if present would be due to Abrams wife. The film is slightly long but is true to the Star Wars films 4,5,6. STID was an attempt to include too many of the TV show ideas at the detriment of the story. Not like the first ST film which did everything just right. If you like SW you should enjoy the new film.

Hopefully J.J. Abrams didn't throw away all the canon of Star Wars to bail himself out of a bad plot hole, like he did in Star Trek Into Darkness.
J.J. Abrams is great at fast moving action, but needs training wheels to make movies for people who can think. (Granted that excludes most of the audience.)

I look forward to seeing it.
