Clients are Atlas Shrugged fans

So, I had a late meeting last night with clients I'm getting to know, older married couple - nice people. In the middle of the conversation she points to the bookcase in my office and says, "So, did you actually read that whole book?" I said, "You mean Atlas Shrugged?" She did. Turns out they both read it at the same time on their two kindles this year. They are fans of Ayn Rand now. We ended up talking about the book and Objective principles for about 30 minutes. Her brother was in prison and read the book first...telling her to read it. He said that she'd know what part of the book changed his life, making him straighten up and turn things around. And, she did know when she read it...it was Galt's speech. So nice to find other fans. Gives me hope...

I almost sold my house about 12 years ago because of the Objectivist contents of my bookshelf. The potential buyer was (at the time) a lawyer for the Institute for Justice.
