Obama and the greens are willing for our nation's industry to be brought to a standstill, to place great hardship on the poor and middle class. They will do anything to stop CO2 production -- well, anything except reactivate the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste disposal we spent billions building.

Exactly! The Michael Bloomberg's and Hillary Clinton's of the world will not give up anything - they want us to move back to the dark ages where stupid people like them can rule unopposed.

Note how much we have to give up so the rest of the world can squander the proceeds of the World Climate Fund cuz that's what would happen. Not for this child. Texas might take exception.

Here's hoping that due to the oil slump there won't be any money for our newly elected leftist Canadian government to send to anyone. Not having that oil royalty cash is going to hurt the Feds up here.

    "Press Release 12/12/15 http://us4.campaign-archive2.com/?u=c...

"GWPF Welcomes Non-Binding And Toothless Un Climate Deal

"London 12 December: Dr Benny Peiser, the director of the Global Warming Policy Forum (GWPF), has welcomed the non-binding and toothless UN climate agreement which was adopted in Paris tonight.

    "Dr Peiser said:

“'The Paris agreement is another acknowledgement of international reality. The deal is further proof, if any was needed, that the developing world will not agree to any legally binding caps, never mind reductions of their CO2 emissions.'

"'As seasoned observers predicted, the Paris deal is based on a voluntary basis which allows nations to set their own voluntary CO2 targets and policies without any legally binding caps or international oversight.'

'In contrast to the Kyoto Protocol, the Paris deal removes all legal obligations for governments to cap or reduce CO2 emissions. This voluntary agreement also removes the mad rush into unrealistic decarbonisation policies that are both economically and politically unsustainable.'”

I expected this result. The Chinese also ruined all prospect for a "framework agreement" six years ago (COP-15 in Copenhagen).

But I would still advise any right-thinking Senator to refuse concurrence on this treaty.

Fastest way for Obama to slash CO2 emissions is to stop the motor of the world and bring us all back to living in natural caves and starving to death. No human movement or actions would certainly accomplish his goal.

Obama is pretty much a power hungry, arrogant, complete idiot. Good thing he cant really do much in the next year until he is OUT for GOOD.

Was that sarcasm? That Obama can't really do much in the next year?? I hope your right but fear he can still do allot of damage.

My meaning was that he couldnt actually affect the use of carbon in our economy in the next year (that couldnt be undone as soon as he is gone). It would just take too long for whatever he actually could get through to have much effect. Note that his stupid Obamacare took 5 years to be implemented, and even so it was a disaster still unfolding.

Did you really expect it to be anything more than just a joke. These are the plans of "Mice" and not of Men.
Like almost all of their efforts...their doomed to failure and I too am temporarily "satisfied".

    So here's their plan:

They will take money from ordinary people in wealthy countries and give it to wealthy people in poor countries who will build overpriced, unreliable renewable energy projects which will produce power too expensive for ordinary poor people there to buy. This will only happen after the UN bureaucrats, corrupt governments and dictators line their own pockets.

$100 Billion/yr. can line a lot of pockets.

There you have it folks. Socialism at it's finest!!!

Dec. 11, 2015 "US Threatens To Walk Out Of Paris Talks If Financial Obligations Made Legally Binding" http://us4.campaign-archive2.com/?u=c...

"The night saw an ugly brawl as US secretary of state John Kerry threatened that developed countries, including the US, would walk out of the agreement if it help up the wall of differentiation or if it was asked to commit to a road-map or a goal to deliver on its financial obligations in the Paris agreement. 'You can take the US out of this. Take the developed world out of this. Remember, the Earth has a problem. What will you do with the problem on your own?' he said behind closed doors in negotiations to other ministers on the second revised draft of the Paris agreement...

"Making a veiled threat again that the agreement could fail if the US was pushed for financial obligations, Kerry said, 'At this late hour, hope we don’t load this with differentiation…I would love to have a legally binding agreement. But the situation in the US is such that legally binding with respect to finance is a killer for the agreement'...

"In the past the developed countries have been unable to deliver financial flows against their commitments of providing US $ 100 billion annually by 2020. The OECD produced a report recently claiming the rich world had delivered US $ 62 billion by 2014 which the rich countries showed off at the Paris talks. But developing countries, including India, noted gross levels of double accounting and counting of high interest loans as climate finance – which is seen as a reparation cost. The developing countries asked that a road-map for delivery of the US $ 100 billion be fixed at Paris and that the accounting rules too be set by the UN climate convention blocking attempts of creative accounting by developed countries. This was partially reflected in the second revised draft of the Paris agreement." [emphasis added]

Guess they will have to wait for the WTO meeting for their party time speaking of protesters. Wouldn't want to host that one when the mob shows up and so do the dynamite vests.
