Are they really this stupid? Any carbon released came from plants to start with. This is a closed loop. Even if global warming is caused by human activity this is a zero sum process. The authors assertion of switching to chicken and pork is ridiculous. The energy used in these production systems is even more detrimental to their argument. Efficiency in animal production is a topic for another time, but this author is an idiot.
