The whole unemployment number is a joke. That Phone calls across the nation accurately produces this number? And if the fictitious phone call recipient replys that they both 1) are looking for work and 2) are not working, then and only then are they added to this mysterious figure.
Every year I teach about this number and it's always just a yea, you gotta trust 'em, to which a student will reply " but you don't trust em" and I say"exactly"

All I can say is I believe what I see with my own eyes. What I see is that the 20 something who has established a household whether married or single is the exception. Most of them are living with parents or with multiple roommates. I know that the trend is to delay marriage and children, but nobody lives at home or with roommates unless they have no other choice.
Meanwhile, Warren Buffet has had unprecedented profits.
