Nice find! Thanks for posting here Nelly. Let's pay attention to how poorly the other MSM outlets ignore this "minor detail" when they talk about future prospects of this deal passing through Congress.
Hello nelly1611, Does it matter? We are no longer a nation of laws. We are one of men...er, um, make that community agitators. I would like to be surprised and find that the law does matter, but recent history is not favorable. Nobody is policing our government any more. Even the SCOTUS has supported the statist, collectivist government and disregarded written law by calling part of obamacare a tax instead of a penalty... Respectfully, O.A.
Snezzy, you came up with a great idea that I never had thought of.-- However, I don't think it would be Constitutional (even if it were physically possible) to retroactively impeach a dead President. (Though isn't it a nice dream? And after having had FDR and his New Deal crammed down our throats for so many decades and a few generations).
Thank you all for the comments. Sometimes When I keep reading about all the politics going on it does not sound like our government is going to be normal again. But there is a lot of history and it goes all the way back to the beginning.
Big deal, against the law. Not when you own the AG's office ! Who is going to bring charges against him ? Congress ! There does not seem to be anyone working in DC that cares for any besides themselves, much less go after some one breaking some little law !! ;-)
Laws were and are made to keep us tax paying citizens in line. Laws do not apply to those on the welfare system and just in case you were unaware of it the president of the usa is on the welfare system just like every one who is elected to the congress and all of their pawn assistants just like trash collectors. Is anyone surprised about the way this has gone?
