I would like to see a feature added that lets people know who is either adding or removing points from a post or comment.
I ask this because there appears to be someone going through and changing the post/comment point totals.
I by no means am trying to stifle the free expression of ideas and opinion. I would just like to know who doesn't like a post and why. If that information is made public or to the poster of the comment etc. it might improve their posting efforts. Likewise if a post is particularly good and gets pluses, who like the post should also be known.
If this is too onerous, perhaps the pluses and minus could be shown to the owner of the post or comment.
If this is too much "clarity and transparency" then I don't know what to do other than allow the silent minority to rule.

In the end, does it really matter? I'm not here for the points, rather the stimulating discussion.
From what I have read, this Rusty doesn't seem to be one to be causing mayhem.
You can't lower your own total. At least I don't think you can. I know you cannot raise you total.
I am always much happier when I just step back from the keyboard for a few days.
I come here for news on the movie and to say hello to the “nice people” in cyberspace, and read what’s worth reading..
Don’t waste a moment of your valuable time on this sort of thing. You will never win.
They can only mark +/-1 once.
It merits taking up space to write why I disagree but not to say "Yes". This makes me, and anyone who follows this policy seem like a negative person.
At least I would like the +1's to be attributed.
