I was in the middle of the whole IRS thing in Cincinnati pretty extensively. So there is a bit of a story to it.

Always watch the other hand..............

overman, time and time again, these national stories break leading back to Cincinnati, that tea party group, and YOU. Your willingness to be a lightening rod in this storm is much appreciated by me and I imagine others in the Gulch. Even though you are stirring the pot, it is highly interesting to me that many of these political battles take place in Cin. Is it due to political need to control Ohio, do you think?
I also read the original post and had one aside. I had to testify in a court case once. I refused to to swear on the bible. I swore on my honor to the judge.

Controlling Ohio is part of it. There is also resistance here that is noticeable, and felt by the coasts. It's organized in a way that defines a battle ground state.

Being a lightening rod is the best way to know where the bad guys are. : ) They hide in plain site, so when they come after you, you can tell whose who.

This isn’t real news, is it? The justice department and the office of Homeland Security had put out statements after the 2008 election that implied they would singled out Tea Party groups for scrutiny. What is news is the IRS apologized on a Friday interrupting a news cycle primarily focused on Benghazi that had finally crossed the threshold of the mainstream media. The groups singled out should demand answers, but we shouldn’t lose sight of the seriousness of Benghazi, or let the IRS story monopolize the news. We would be playing into the hands of those who would benefit most from making Benghazi quietly go away.

There will be an ongoing Squirrel infestation with this administration. Your are right about trying to divert attention from Benghazi, but using the IRS as a weapon is pretty important too. The thing that keeps jumping out at me is that this administration seems to have absolutely no idea what's going on in the rest of the government, especially under it's political appointees, or so they say. "We had no idea." "It was low level people." "It was the CIA". Plausible denial-ability? Total ineptitude? Who cares we'll screw you anyway? Makes you wonder doesn't it?
