Are you enjoying the radio show as much as I am?

I am curious as to how many Gulchers are listening to Radio Interrupted. Rick is doing a great job as host and I love the concept. I want to know if you are listening and what your thoughts are.

I would like to listen, but as I've said many times, the time slot is when I'm at work so I can't.

what exactly do you want and at what time? do you want to see Rick with someone who disagrees with him? do you ewant another format? do you want to provide content for the host? do you want there to be a nice debate between host and co-host? give me your dream team.

I can't speak to the format because I haven't heard it.

        1. I do want it at another time. We are producers and we are producing and I suspect a large majority can't listen at the current time. How about a Sunday around noon. That should fit most of our time zones.

        2. I want philosophy. Not the news of the day, but how peoples philosophy, their world view, shapes the world around us for good or ill.

        3. The philosophy classes that the Atlas Society had online a few years ago were great. How about a guest speaker teaching true Objectivist philosophy. There are many here in the Gulch that have no clue what Objectivism is about.

        4. A debate would always be welcome.

I'll think more on this and come up with more. .

But you can't roller skate in a buffalo herd. Sorry it slipped out. I've got the computer power but it's not coming through the low and sporadic bandwidth. Have to go to the wifi cafe - damn uh huh uh huh.

Next to Ruby's Wine Bar in the marina area which is now re-opening as Shot's . In between that one and Defender Yacht Sales. The coffee is being roasted in North Guaymas by the lady that used to be at Evie's they have Panini and other stuff. Great AC! Most places are including wifi these days. Not hard to find. but this is the only one in the old style although bring your own computer. It's also convenient to the Altered Tails book store used as a fund raiser for the animal assistance folks.

Another place to try is Iguanas where JJ's used to be. JJ moved and it looks like Santa Fe Market is closing leaving Ley's Evies is now Bamboo a dine in, take out or delivery limited menu chinese and sushi place. The bank CI Banco is the ATM to use at 17.4 fee.

That's all the exciting stuff. the 2008 crash hit them hard though in the tourist side of things. The labor day fishing tournament also affected by water temperature. 12 boats and Sunday saw three fish caught.

I'l try to get over there when the broad cast is on when I'm in town. The marina wifi during the day won't handle the traffic of the summer residents never mind the full boasting season.

For those of us in expat land it's probably easy if have a house or rental with cable service for the internet or if one goes to the internet hotspots. The Marina Wifi is.....leaves a lot to be desired such as bandwidth.
