They were told by the CO Supreme Court that they couldn't do that, and that people had to be notified if their names appeared on the list, and the list then had to be destroyed. [ha!]
Well, as a popular, get the crowd shouting female shooter who spoke at such rallies, I was not surprised to find my name on the list. But look.
I spoke in the winter when I was halfway through chemotherapy. I spoke when we had positive confirmation that the Denver police had snipers up around the venue. I spoke when I had fallen and broken my wrist not 30 minutes before. We taped it with gaffer's tape and I was hard-put to hold up the William Wallace replica sword which I was using as a prop.
In making the decision to do anything, you examine and accept the possible outcomes of the decision. You make the decision, and you go. Some things are worth going for. You just have to decide what you're willing to lose.
