Private Company Claims Fusion Reactor Breakthrough

Tri Alpha of California, has set a record for holding superheated plasma in what is called Reverse Field Containment.
For over 5 milliseconds (forever in something like this) the motion of the plasma generated the magnetic field needed to hold itself together
.
Tri Alpha is taking a different approach to fusion power production, they intend to fuse Hydrogen and Boron, which gets away from some of the problems associated with Deuterium and Tritium fusion.
Not sure if you can buy their stock yet, But they seem to be making progress, Could it be that private industry will beat the government backed projects to actual fusion power production?

Waiting on that would be like waiting for ash to self-morph into gold - the opposite of which being something the government is quite good at.
