Illinois Concealed Carry gets moving, the last state to put CC into the hands of the citizens

This has taken four decades, lots of people died for lack of this and after the state Supreme Court forced the state to enact it one year ago, we are finally being allowed to sign up for it. My permit is #588.
Uh... no... we've had concealed carry all along. It's called the freaking 2nd Amendment.
Concealed Carry laws are unConstitutional.
(yes, I'm starting to sound like a broken record; not my fault... if more people would just *read* the document).
But... inter armes, silent leges.
It is illogical to deny the laws that exist. We must work to repeal these unjustifiable laws. Denying their existence does nothing. Now, if you are planning an armed revolt against the government that changes everything.
Why is it the issue has never come before the Supreme Court? That the 2nd Amendment means what it says? Even that gawdawful 1934 decision, which was wrong, was based on some bizarre definition of "military" weapons.
You applaud and call it a small victory... .WHEN IT IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL. You are supporting an unConstitutional law. The State does not have the authority to grant you permission to carry a weapon in any way whatsoever, any more than it has the authority to restrict you from carrying a weapon in any way whatsoever.
The battle for the states is where the action is right now. Am I saying future armed conflict with the federal government is out of the question? No. I am saying however, that I do not believe the time for that is now; just when we are beginning to see people coming around.
There is a difference in someone who supports unconstitutional law and someone who has different ideas than you on how to change them.
Which part of "getting permission to do something which cannot require permission to do" do you not understand?
You can't expand gun rights; the right exists, there is no expansion or contraction. The Constitution protects it. These laws violate it.
By applauding concealed carry laws you are applauding giving the State more power than it has the authority to claim.
You don't have different ideas how to change them; you have ideas to embrace them.
