Is there ever really "a time for this kind of discussion"? no-the time is always now. I was interested in the one commentator who said what if someone held a contest for the most racially disparaging cartoon against blacks? and I was reminded of the hugely offensive -racially offensive- cartoons featuring Condeleeza Rice. Cartoonists and satirists are provocative because that's their JOB. If you don't like it, don't support them. Do not support their patrons. That's how we roll undr true capitalism. We do not kill people because they offend us. that is what monsters do.
