We should have a had a massive debate when we had 3,000 SWAT raids if we wanted to go to 80,000. The answer would have been no. I actually remember being in grade school current events, about 8 y/o, learning that the police use SWAT teams in unusual extreme situations. It's tragic that a military approach as become routine.
