...and the Apology/Appeasement Tour continues unabated after 6 years...

and now he's ruined one of my favorite songs (not really. I'd have to take him seriously): "Turn the Page", Bob Seger, 1976, Capitol Records...

To paraphrase Llloyd Bentsen: "Mr. Obama, sir: I knew Bob Seger. Bob Seger was a friend of mine. YOU sir, are no Bob Seger..."...

What's interesting or disgusting depending on your perspective is there is no answer to the question "what's the point?". Why normalize relations? Why now? Whether they should have been down or what the issues were is not really the point. The point is, what has Cuba done to show that does not violate the rights of it's people? What has Cuba done to demonstrate that anything has changed since these policies were implemented so many years ago? Or is this another feel good move by our President... To go ahead and treat them as if they have changed/improved in the hopes that by doing that maybe they will... It's one thing to question a policy or even call for discussion but to just change it wholeheartedly at the drop of a hat.. Doesn't make sense to me...

This is all about, and always is, one man: Obama. Not just about his "legacy", but part of his "fundamental changing of America".

America (the old one) is against Cuba? Then I'm for Cuba.

And I'll only briefly mention the MSM prima donnas like Baba Walters etc. who would drool and beyond to talk to ("interview") the initial "Great One": Fidel Castro. Geez, what is it about cigars?

Hmmm...wasn't there someone like that named, umm, Oprah, who gave the current "Great One" his biggest push in 2008?

And, finally, perhaps a little envy: "Raul and Fidel have/had what I want..., damn Constitution"...

      Just sayin...
