The trend in television news is for anchors to invite guests to interview but never let them say anything. The anchor asks questions in the form of running statements on the guests views and talks over them when they try to respond. This is done by both the left and right and they pass it off as tough journalism. They could save the guests time by just putting their picture on the screen and give both the questions and answers. It is a shame that to get free face time, candidates tolerate this at all.
