Is Anwar al-Awlaki any more a criminal than Barack Obama?

I've been thinking about this for quite a while. And posit the question of whether Obama is substantially different than the radical imam al-Awlaki who was killed in an Obama ordered drone strike in 2011. Later, his son was also targeted and killed by executive order because it was suspected that he would rise to be an influential leader like his father.

Supposedly al-Awlaki's crimes were speaking negatively about the US, consorting with prostitutes and associating with known or suspected terrorist including Hussein Hassan who shot up Ft. Hood. The Hassan contact with through the internet. It is suspected that al-Awalki help plan attacks but not substantiated. Consorting with prostitutes would put him in good company with congressmen and secret service people alike.

His son was not suspected of doing anything other than being the son of an American citizen by birth who became radicalized because of his resistance to US foreign policy vis-à-vis the middle east. He is in good company with both Ron and Rand Paul opponents of the same.

Obama issued kill orders for al-Awlaki which would make him at the very least a conspirator in a capital crime. There is no record of al-Awlaki having issued a kill order for anyone and his son had even less of an opportunity.

I think Obama is the most prolific murderer as president since the Amerindian genocide.

What think others?
