Steps taken to defund Operation Choke Point

This should shed some light on who was behind the implementation and enforcement of this unconstitutional law which is punitive in the extreme, and targets not only the firearms industry as a whole, but coin dealers and travel clubs, of all things! It's a means of preventing individuals from having protections from an overly invasive and increasingly abusive government.

Whenever i see something being enacted that is a bit 'iffy' with respect to a citizens rights, i get nervous.
We used to see cars running around here, hot cars, painted in police livery. When pressed about it, the answer was always that it was confiscated from a convicted drug dealer. Now, make no mistake...i'm no fan of drug dealers; however, the fact remains that the law already prescribes penalties for dealing drugs, none of which usually involves giving the local constabulary your car. My problem with this and Choke Point and the many others like them is that I don't really care what the law is intended to do; my care is what CAN the law do to ordinary citizens who have no effective recourse.
