Ohio Tax Credit for Motion Pictures -- Atlas II scouting info.

Ohio has a tax credit and a wonderful facility at Wilmington where they filmed The Avengers a few years ago which I go into more detail in the article at the link, which might help keep costs down on Atlas III. I think Michigan has some of the same kind of credits.
Also, I put up some information with pictures of another location that might make for some economic shots in Galt's Gulch. The location mentioned is in Tennessee and is close to very inexpensive lodging for cast and crew. The existing structures might make for some great close up exteriors and interiors of some of the upcoming Galts Gulch sequences.

I'm sure the producers have already scouted out much of this, but if some of this information wasn't known, I'd feel bad. The village location mentioned is at an elevation of over 6000 ft above sea level, so the vegetation is similar to what might be found in Colorado in Atlantas the way Ayn Rand wrote it.
