To me, "Global Warming/Climate Change" is an eco-movement hoax.
A big one.

Scientists quickly learned that the big funding dollars were going to "Global Warming/Climate Change" research, and that the groups which were funding the research were ideologically aligned to a specific outcome of that research.

Besides a hoax, it also a political strategy which serves a purpose, either through convenience or design, for the global elitists at the UN who, through the IPCC, are seeking to form a de facto world government through the imposition of a global tax.

Besides a hoax, and a political strategy, it is also a doomsday religion.
Remember that Al Gore is a failed doctorate in divinity and that he nicknamed his initial "An Inconvenient Truth" speaking tour "Brother Al's Traveling Apocalypse Show".

absolutely, got a few looks at the industry in a project and it was nothing to see $50-70MM flow to academics wanting to be "entreprenurs" with no understanding that you need to operate at a profit not just be able to raise more money and get grants. the measurement in the climate change industry is who and how much you can raise not if it makes sense. when pushed to the commercial pattern, the save the world investors scatter and the deals die. having power away from the grid made good sense to me, but until it is commercialized who cares as it is unavailable anywhere in the world.

It is a very purposeful, planned, marketed, and well funded wealth redistribution scheme on a global scale. A huge part of it is nothing less than bringing to heel, the mighty US population into the UN's goal of global government through control of the world's energy. Who gets it, how much they get, how do they use it. It has been that since sometime in the 1960's and is based on the belief that communism is the best form of government to address the World's real problem of controlling the human animal and his individual spirit.

Global Warming/Climate Change is a nonsensical argument designed to take our attention off of the true agenda which is to move the USA towards Socialism one step at a time.

It's not only a scam meant to bring about one world government, but also to redistribute money from the USA to all other countries.
Not to mention the billions that have already been wasted and funneled in to connected pockets
