I think she's got bigger problems than her age. We could start with Benghazi, her admiration for Saul, and her strong support for bocare, then hit bill in the middle of the list with his womanizing and bj's in the oval office from staff, and end with her tailored pant suits that look like they're made from White House drapes for that subliminal presidentiary seed planting. She's a leftist on a power trip who, I believe, wants to show up Bill in the worst way possible. I'm my opinion she doesn't have a single redeeming quality. And her walk reminds of me of a certain North Korean....we should do a side by side of the two of them.

Include her lie about being shot at while taking off.

          Yea and verily.

If only whoever runs against her would use these against her. Bring them up and ask her why she lied.

Well they better be or they aren't worth the time.. Remember Mitt confronting Bo about Benghazi and mentioning his rose garden talk and how he didn't call it terrorism and then bo said he did call it terrorism (when he most certainly did not)..and Candy backed him up (the fucking moderator interjected her biased two cents!!) and then Mitt dropped it like a hot potato instead of hammering the point...and then never brought it up again in the subsequent debate. That instant, right there, when he backed down from calling bo out, was when he lost the election. He coward instead of getting stronger about his point... and THAT is what we're looking for and will support...strength of conviction. Nothing else will do.

Or how she disembarked Air Force One in Bosnia/Kosovo "under sniper fire"...

I've heard from several sources that she is probably a bisexual and has some girlfriends in the past that can be brought in... to Swift Boat her...

She bumped her head and couldn't testify before congress for a year...

That "reset button" with Russia didn't work out too well... We're pretty much in a Cold War again under her watch.

She would be an old-looking 74 by the end of her first term.

Wasn't that how old Ronald Reagan was?

I agree, Bob... it isn't the age, it's the content of the mind in the body. If life expectancy is The Issue, she probably has enough years left (on average, anyway) to do the job. Even BO has turned grayish from the stress. Most Prezzies do.
But the content of her 'mind'? More scary than her age, to me!

I don’t think age matters. What matters is character, ethics, cognizant abilities, honesty and being healthy. On every one of the above Hillary has to be disqualified.

    "The way sunlight dances about your soft, blonde hair; the gaze of your intelligent, eyes of cyan; your passionate kisses, with scarlet-tinted lips...Dear sweet Hillary." {Waking. Confused.}

    "Where am I?"

    "Fivedollar, you are dead."

    "Is this heaven?"

{Chuckling} "The Big Guy let us swap wives. We have to spend the first million years sweet talking the other's spouse. Then we get a day to consummate the deal."

"Doesn't should like my concept of heaven, but it could be worse. Say Bill, what happens next?"

{Grinning} "We swap with other husbands. By the way, the Boss showed me the list. You get Nancy Pelosi next."

    "Oh hell."

{Face bursting into flames} "That's right. By the way, for using first person, you get Pelosi for two million years."

I say Hillary has a good chance of winning the election for two main reasons. One, in 2016 political correctness will still trump rational thought, and two, the Democratic machine knows how to rig an election. Since the MSM is part of the machine, her age will be spun into a non-issue or even an asset. Speaking of MSM: Benghazi? Russian reset button? Obamacare? ... never heard of 'em... ;-)

Speaking of the MSM, do you all remember how they pounded into every ones head that McCain was to old? Also, how Palin would be too young and inexperienced to take over as President if something happened to McCain!!!

So instead the MSM promoted a man that had ZERO experience in running anything!!!

I say that the word bitch aptly describes Hillary. She has a very nasty and arrogant manner which would tell us what she would be like as president. You can see it in her face and the way she acts and talks. The ultimate in arrogance is Obama, but Hillary isnt far behind. You can tell when she is lying because her lips are moving. She is an opportunist and deals with accumulating raw power.

None. Unless we were talking about someone other than Hillary. Many national figures have been rational (in a legal sense) and viable into their 90s. The real question is, what are their values? In the case of Hillary, Age won't matter because whether she's 28 0r 82, she is full of bad ideas and incompetency.

Not necessarily, but her senility is.

And her stint at State during Benghazi.
And her inane comments about "4 in the morning"

I'd also be asking what happened to the 27 people associated with the Clintons who have turned up dead in mysterious circumstances over the years.

Or all the millions in financing she's getting from non-US sources (she had TWO donors get convicted of violating campaign finance laws when she ran for president the first time).

I would also question her health. She's been in the hospital for "undisclosed" conditions several times in the past few years.

Your "4 in the Morning" statement sparked old dino's dangerous imagination.
I visualized THE red phone ringing beside Bengazi Killary in bed at four in the morning.
She slaps THE red phone off the stand while cussing it out.
Killary rolls over, fluffing her pillow and facing Bill, who says, "Maybe you should answer that."
Killary slaps Bill and goes back to sleep.
Pouting like a little boy, Bill rolls away and gets back on Monica.

She could be like Bernie and "Weekend at Bernie's" and the voters will still elect her. Why? The media has convinced them to. The average American thinks Benghazi is an Italian casserole.

I think we just tried our first black president. I'm just sure we're ready for our first woman president. But if we are, please please, make it one that's attractive enough that I don't mind at least seeing her the few times I get tricked or trapped into doing so.

I go back to Rush's description of Femi-Nazi. She is scareyyy.

Reagan was older when he was elected than Clinton would be if she was elected. The age is not a big deal. She's gonna get in unless the Republicans can front a suitable candidate.
Commenting about her appearance? That's just childish YouTube forum stuff.

      TomSwift -

True. We do not live in a cosmos where the face accurately reflects the character of the individual. Nonetheless, to refer to someone as 'ugly outside' when one personally considers them to be 'ugly inside' is a not unreasonable form of venting. Regan/Hillary: Statesman/Hag - that pretty much sums it up. Both are of comparable ages, but our feelings about them are different.

Yes, childish...but where else can one vent these opinions?

I had just hoped that this forum would be a site of intelligent discussion, something sorely lacking online. I have not been on it very long and have found some interesting comments but a lot of it, as you say, childish.
Remember that Ayn Rand despised Reagan and was no fan of conservatives as well.
As a disclaimer, I am not an American. If I was, I would have no idea what party to vote for. Both are repugnant, just in different ways.

You have probably already cleverly discerned from the other threads active over the last day or so that there are a wide variety of topics and discussion styles on this list. Many of them will fulfill your desire for rational conversation. Your desire for intelligent discussion is mutual: it is one of the things that keeps us going on the Gulch list - the ability to relax into a logical discussion with people who reason from relatively similar premises.

Other threads are technical/informational in nature. We have an incredible spread of expertise on this site and I could expect to receive information on how to coat baskets with pitch or what the most user friendly secure encryption protocol is if I put out those questions to the list.

But there are other, trivial, topics as well: music, venting... I don't know what types of people you have in you personal circle, but sometimes being able to vent to like-minded folk is valuable. This is one of those threads.

          Enjoy.

At this time in our ever-evolving pop culture driven country, looks will probably be the deciding factor in the 2016 presidential election (if one is actually held).
When Bill Mahr interviewed Hillary and told her: "I have three words for you. ..." , somehow I thought that the three words would be: Life Style Lift !
