Police in Miami have engaged in such over-zealous actions as arresting employees for "trespassing," even after the business owner tried to explain that they were employees and thus allowed to be in the back section of the store, as well as seizing the store's gun in an illegal search and charging the employee on duty with illegal possession of firearm. One employee was even stopped 258 times in four years, searched more than 100 times, and arrested and jailed 56 times.
