Haha! This is exactly what I said aloud when my wife and I were watching the speech. And then a little later on I added I wish the little silhouette sci-fi characters that used to be in the lower right on the old Sci-Fi Theater shows providing commentary on really bad hokey Sci-Fi movies could be added in there.

I have not found my fav scene. I will say I have watched it 3, 3 times now. I think there were many scenes that nailed it. on the whole? I was frustrated. but I know there was alot of great thought put into it and then that thought
was pegged into a slot. that was frustrating. I've never made a movie. It's a big deal with lots of plates spinning ...

The scene in the vineyard was a great scene, but very intellectual. Rand showed that people who are rational also feel very deeply. I loved the scenes that showed emotion

Yes I loved that scene too. I also liked Milligan's comments at the reception referring to getting out of lending when he was forced to lend money to people who could not pay him back.

I am another vote for this scene as my favorite. Unfortunately I think the movie format was simply to short and incomplete to get the books full meaning across. This scene at least gave a very brief summary that was understandable.

That was my wife's and my favorite part, too.

I agree with this one... This scene practically explains the entire idea of the sanction of the victim in under 2 minutes.

True, it is an adaption, and considering all that it takes to make a movie, and especially of a very deep and most philosophically important book, all three "episodes" did fulfill the purpose of "hoping more will read the book" (and hopefully progress to learning about Objectivism).

As to "an in-depth miniseries", it was posted sometime back that such was being considered (15 episodes each year for three years [?])..........which is the only vehicle that could come close to portraying the book "in depth". As an adaption and "interest sparking" vehicle, I believe ASIII did a credible job and enjoyed it as such.

And, again, thank you John A. and all involved for doing what no one else has done before (after 50+ years).
