unfortunately, he is trending highly in the polls right now. I went to GOP.com and took a straw poll. They do make you sign up, I gave them my name but a dummy email acct I never use. I was surprised at some of the choices, pleasantly, that is.
I like your 3 picks, as well. I typically prefer someone who has been a governor, since the president is the CEO of the federal government; so, executive experience should be required. However, based on their closer adherence to the US Constitution, I like Senators Paul and Cruz. Perhaps a Walker-Paul ticket would be a winner...?
Not all Gov's are the same - to whit: Jerry Brown, Michael Dukakis, Rod Blagojevich, and the recently departed Cuomo (or his idiot son for that matter), just to name a few. Heck, there are few R Gov's who really cut the mustard. I wouldn't vote for Bush or Christie in a primary, and would have to hold my nose in a general.
A few potentially good ones? That's nice. It get stuff from them all the time and just delete without reading. I'm longing for a politician that has read the Constitution and actually understands it.
Bush has a better stylist. hilary wears pant suits made by Omar the Tent Maker. Between her and moochelle they are setting the world of fashion back centuries.
No. The person they are inside has nothing to do with their outward appearance. They are both disgustingly ugly, and would be so even to a person blind from birth.
I don't think Jeb is anything to look at. I think it's funny that you guys are talking about their looks as a discrediting feature and the dems put down Sarah Palin's GOOD looks down for the same reason. interesting
Just to be totally clear - when I said that they were disgustingly ugly, I meant on the inside. That is why even a blind person would come to the same conclusion.
I don't discredit them because they are ugly, as in born that way. To me they are ugly because of who they are inside and it just shows on the outside.
yes. I am not criticizing. I am pointing out that Sarah Palin was discredited for having a beautiful face, figure and smile...that somehow she lacked virtue because of this. f'ed up
i think it is irrelevant which of them wins, we are already on the road to socialism/fascism and neither of them would ever try and stop it. when the economy collapses their money will not have any value either.
Cripple the power of the office to what it was under G. Washington. It should be a constitutional republic, not a dictatorial aristocracy.
Alternatively, one requirement for all who want to run for office could be enrollment in the human testing for ebola drugs. First infect each participant/candidate with ebola...
p.s. Washington took the job reluctantly, to perpetuate the goodness in the nation, and he could see it clearly. . can anyone in power see that value, now???
Hear ye, hear ye, peons of the vassal states! Hear ye!, Hear ye to know ye that two great royal houses shall contend for the crown in the Year of Our Lord 2016. Who shall rule the Oval Office Throne? Which pair of pants shall it be?
I am not sure that is possible. The trouble I have with conservatives is most are socially liberal. That leads to more programs and less individual freedom. I believe that a constitutional libertarian is the best choice because they believe in a very limited government, the rule of law and hold individuals right to choose in very high esteem. Personally I feel electing people with these values is the best choice if we are to ever get back to the original founders vision for America.
Actually, Ed, most conservatives are not socially liberal (that would mean that they advocate for more liberty on social issues, not less). They are economically liberal. And of course, I use the term "liberal" in the classical meaning - as in liberty, not the bastardized current meaning of socialist/progressive.
I like your original position of "constitutional libertarian." What the Constitution spells out for powers, nothing more, and all else is up to the states/individuals.
But I'd marry her in a heartbeat. Or subscribe if she gets her own TV show.
The way things are going all of us chicks will be donning burkas styled by Omar the Tent Maker.

Both need to be discarded NOW!

Yep...
