A student of mine asked me if I was familiar with this forum...I was not, until just now. Having listened to some of my opinionated proclamations on liberty, what it means to us, and the concerted assault on it that we are experiencing, he said that I'd feel at home here. So here I am.
An avid reader in my youth, I find that I spend far more time "doing" that reading in my adult life. This resulted in only reading a few books a year until I found Audible books. Now, that service is my go-to for the written/spoken word. Hence, a great deal of Ayn Rand's works have been consumed in the past few years.
Well into my second career after a 20-year career in the Air force, I am constantly learning new skills in preparation for a questionable future.
I'm looking forward to this forum.
