Politics ruin prom in CT-or Dems are A$$-holes

I saw this on the news last night, and could not understand how people could politicize a HS prom! The stupidity of people is growing exponentially! I think if their prom happens, they should hire the band 'Atlas Shrugged' to play!

  To the core. That comment that it should have been donated anonymously was just plain dumb. Who cares where it's coming from! That someone wanted to do something really very nice for these kids is being overlooked bc of politics.

    it is a violation of the 1st Amendment. and how come the HS has to listen to the city council over the school board anyway? it always get complicated when the govt runs something. local govt, collector of property taxes which pay for school districts, state govt overseeing standards for public education in their state, state dollars allocated, federal govt supplements public schools via money and rules and curriculum. what a cluster! somebody should just donate the use of their barn. or maybe the local VFW could kick a few chairs aside and get this party started!

    Come join my wife and I in Wyoming!
    We leave CT in April for 1 week to set our initial WY citizenship groundwork.
    
    CT, and I would even say ALL of New England (despite claims from the NH Free State Project), is done.
    Don't stick a fork in it, the moochers will tax it.
