Dead on? Researcher Claims Increase in Zombie Obsession Is Connected to Economic Upheaval | TheBlaze.com

There are plenty of zombies out there in this respect. There are plenty of people who are content to hang on the word of someone else based purely on emotion, without bothering check the facts themselves. This ignores their reasoning and forsakes will. The idea of physical undead type of zombies is made very well apparent as a joke by the story itself, but the mental part of it is all too common.

So are stupid people. The Occupy crowd exemplifies this.

That's who I was calling "walkers". The stupid sheep among us. The thinking are way outnumbered by the Non.

Because their "feelings" override our logic. Yes!..a fairness doctrine...that's the ticket!!! :) Implement that...hurry!

Ever play Call Of Duty, Black Ops Zombies? If not, you should try it. After the 10th round, you'll feel a bit better. Rest assured, they keep coming! I'm getting better at the "Five" map. My fairness doctrine is implemented via the 12-gauge.

But, for more realism, head out to your local Skeet range and blast about 50 rounds through your 12-gauge there. Stress relief is guaranteed.

I do not. but have a son who chooses to spend free time on a "tranzit" map instead of calling his mother! unbelievable!

The biggest challenge I think we all face today is what to do with the time we have. It's an understatement to say it's difficult to balance time for family/spouse, financial affairs, standing up to morons in the local area such a city government, school boards, staying in shape and finally to have fun. Thank God for coffee, but at the end of the day, I'm beat all the same.

Do you use those Zombie targets with the oozing blood in them? I've thought about getting some just for kicks, but haven't yet. I haven't shot skeet in forever. Or a 12 gauge.
I don't play video games...they completely bore me mostly because I'm thinking about what I'd rather be doing or what I NEED to be doing instead. My boys play them a lot...I actually like to listen to them. Their rooms are next to each other (across the hall from my office) but they talk to each other thru their headphones and with the kid down the street..for some reason THAT entertains me They're funny. :) (And I have a few fairness doctrines here as well.)

what I don't get is when the boys all get together in the same room each with their own computer and do it with headsets on. what's the point in that?

Haven't had that happen. I love when one gets up and goes to the bathroom or gets something to eat and the one that is still playing doesn't know they left and they think they're going to cover them... "WHERE ARE YOU!!!" LOL

Good question...I've always wondered about bathroom break during combat. Or on tv shows. Downtown Abbey even....Does that big castle HAVE bathrooms? It's like going to the bathroom didn't happen back then...and those crazy long dresses...what a pain... Not to mention military garb with all the belts and holsters and flasks and knives....ammo hanging everywhere. It cannot be a fun task. ick And dodging bullets too. sheesh.

chamber pots.depending on how rich you were decided who cleaned them out.
long dresses, mostly wool. wool leaves minute scratches and there wasn't much for underwear. easiest way to get an infection and die. at the beginning of the industrial age in England, one of the first things mass produced was underwear. saved countless lives.
                          yea, that dodging bullets thing.

No, I use the standard "shadow" silouhette targets. Aiming for "center-mass" is always a good rule to follow. But when shooting handguns, I'm working on my throat/head shots (10 yards out) and am getting a little better each time.

But, it's a whole different story when it could be someone coming at you and you're nervous...I just hope it never comes to that.

Yeah...shooting with no time to aim and being nervous changes everything... just point and pull. Which is when extra rounds (big magazines) are useful and necessary.... but who cares about that?? Ugh.
                    Lasers are nice too. :)
