This is an excerpt. Click the link above for the full article:

Democrats are the crew of Obama’s sinking ship for the next twenty-six months and he has nothing but scorn for their plight. Unless one counts sycophants and Hollywood celebrities, he hasn’t got a lot of friends. The presidency in good times is a tough gig; what if financial markets and the economy were to nosedive or more of the world’s hot spots erupted? Obama could be the Democrats’ Herbert Hoover, a politician who dooms his party not just for an election, but for a generation. You can bet they see the possibility and knives are already coming out.

He is a dangerous man, with his phone & pen. The worst is he actually believes he has dictatorial powers to alter or enact anything he wants to. As you stated, it would be wise for us to keep a close eye on him and hope that our newly elected congress & senate have the courage to shorten his leash.

The knives.. Hopefully a Nacht der langen Messer won't be next. At this point, politically he has nothing to lose. The market is either becoming very volatile, or the present upturn is optimism due to election results, but it seems that could all be changed depending upon executive action. It is likely to be a bumpy ride... Are Hoovervilles on the horizon, or do they exist already in many places though sanitized and in a different form? I hope the new Congress can gain some semblance of control and stability. Hope is not much to hang your hat on..

This is usually an interesting blog, but this post is all making a big deal out of mundane events that people will hardly remember in five years.

The only reason that people will hardly remember this in five years is because this outrage will be outdone by so many more in the interim. As for five years ago, I bet you had forgotten about "Cash for Clunkers". In any Republican administration, this would have gotten him compared to Dan Quayle.
