I'm in Austin Texas.
I made an effort every election year to ask the kids who they thought I would vote for. They were always split 50%/50%.
I was virtually alone in my attitude.
I would welcome any advice on where to take my career from here.
At the risk of being called arrogant:
I am an excellent teacher, creative, with unique and creative methods for reaching kids that work and excellent discipline that empowers the kids rather than silences them.
I am below average on paperwork skills and have extreme trouble "making this work", where "making things work" involves doing unethical things to make everything fit "officially".

Yes, I would appreciate advice and suggestions on what people need and are looking for.

I really wasn't sure how to respond to the site.
I'm an out-of-work teacher who has been at odds with administrators and other teachers for decades. Right now I home teach my daughter who tested at grade two and a half in math (her lowest subject) and grade four in reading (her highest subject) at the beginning of kindergarten.
The school's solution (my employer at the time)?
Put her in first grade.

There is so much more possible.
Is there anyone aware of options for educators that exist in an ethical and Objectivist environment?
