Interesting read in light of the years of misinformation we've been fed. Maybe the worlds' intelligence community was right all along.

I knew people who were on the ground in the beginning. They told me of WMD munitions found in various places around Iraq. No one believed them or me. I'm so sick of "Bush lied and people died" and "No justification for war". The only things not found, the mass quantities, were likely in that convoy of trucks heading to Damascus that were caught on satellite. Sure, vilify Bush...even though he was right on this matter.

I have heard stories like this from military personnel. The storyline for Democrats is that these were old useless weapons, soldiers got hurt, we were lied to and it's all Bush's fault. Doesn't change much unfortunately. I hope the soldiers get the care and recognition they deserve.

Think the timing of this story is to try to embarrass the Republicans leading up to the election?

It is certainly hard to understand the motivation for a republican administration NOT wanting to publicize this since many of the incidents happened under GWB. And I really don't see it serving the democrats well either... wouldn't this be an admission that Bush was right (which is NOT what our Dear Leader would want to say).
