Today me dino is with better things to do is working~~no, tediously PREPARING to work~~ on my income tax return.
And why is it called a return? Why do I owe any kinda "return" to a government with officials out to take kickbacks on my money being spent on the stupid shit listed in Meme #4 if Cackles Word Salad had won the election?
I would so much just love to see the IRS shut down.
One thing I wish Zelstinky was asked when the Oval Office meeting was televised is do you have a clue to how you lost half the money you conned out of Biden and please name the Ukrainian fat cats who reportedly found the money to buy land in Switzerland with.

Shut the IRS, AKA The Blood Sucking Rats, down is the best idea that I have heard in years. The federal government has way too much of the American tax payers’ money to spend as evidenced by DOGE.

And the crooked big government scammers can also get money printed they don't even have,
That only increases the trillions of dollars of debt those kickback artists have gotten We The People way down the hole.

Nicely done, OUC, with a great choice of subject matter for this issue. Maybe an expenditure DOGE would excuse is supplying ear protection for the taxpayers in order to attenuate the shrieking of the dems and RINOs. Speaking of taxpayers, I can't help but thinking the 16th amendment is a one-liner, but the tax code is thousands of pages. Being a senior citizen with no itemizable deductions I have to opt for the 1040-SR method and am swept away by the instruction booklet and worksheets. Has anyone here read that thing? It's cover to cover bureaucratese and legalese to confound and confuse and leave the taxpayer in a perpetual state of "I hope I got this sh-t right!" - maybe that's the idea! AND this is only one form in who-knows-how-many. I recall back in the Clinton era there was a meme of the new simplified tax form that simply read, "How much did you make? $__. Send it in." Time to scrap the whole damn thing!
