Signal Texting "Leak" of Potential Yemeni Strikes by Trump's Team-Oops?
Posted by Aeronca 4 days, 18 hours ago to Government
So, Some of Trump's appointees including DNI Gabbard and Vance were having a Signal texting chat discussing sensitive but unclassified potential military activity against Yemen and a reporter-journalist was somehow in that chat. I was watching the hearings in Congress, the usual grilling of Gabbard et al. It looks bad.
Was the reporter put in by mistake?
Was Signal hacked so the reporter could spy on it?
Did our government leak it on purpose for effect, letting the reporter blab it out as they knew he would?
Do we have yet another mole, a "leaker"?
Were they stupid to be using a private app and to be texting sensitive things?
My thoughts, yours?

why is the contact info for someone that hates Trump on the phone of someone in the Trump admin???
who added to the call/sent the info to this lying "journalist"
(And absolutely if it is in any way, shape, manner or form considered "classified".)
you are morally and ethically obligated to identify yourself, announce your inappropriate presence, and leave the meeting the moment it becomes apparent you don't belong there.
Otherwise your are a spy.
Subject to all the penalties of spying.
The fact that this Scumbag lurked in the shadows, spying on elected members of congress and our military, and did not confess to his sins until it was politically expedient, tells us everything we need to know about his motives.
He is, in fact, a spy
And should be prosecuted as such.
Secondly: Having worked on classified programs, the access list for compartmentalized communications is logged for every event.
Meaning: there exists a digital paper trail of when "Scumbag" was placed on the list and who put him there.
Was he on the list during the Buy-Dumb regime, and never taken off?
Did a Rat sneak aboard the USS Trump and doctor the access list? (there will be a digital trail here too).
All things computer tell a tale if you know where to look.
Time to call in team Musk. The evidence is there, waiting to be discovered.
It's a molehill being made into an anthill by the treasonous media.
A choice: (a) trust the biased media, (b) trust the biased politicians,
(c) ignore the entire pile of sludge and get on with personal productivity
while preparing for an extended economic decline caused by the
activities of the biased media and biased politicians.
I think it was Sun Tzu that discussed planting false information to misdirect an enemy. That's been standard practice for 3000 years.
Sometimes, too, you can artificially create a situation like this, using less-valuable information, in order to expose suspected leaks.
NOTHING the yeman bast_ards would do would stop us for doing what we needed to do
was this a mis-direction? look here while we attack there...
yes, someone needs to verify how it happened, if it happened
(not) smart phones are the bane of all that use them.
i almost added 138 people to a MS Teams call, i typed the first 2 letters of someone's name, hit "add" to add them to the call. the list updated to be 138 people.... damn computers slow refresh
people make mistakes...
so more error checking is needed
where i work, you try to assign someone access, if they do not have the correct rights, the software says "nope"
- The Executive should simply say this is Executive privilege and qualified immunity, destroy all the info, and ignore the judge. The separate "watchdog" group has no standing. That is what any of the demonrat admins would have done (e.g. Hillary). They should have done this already.
- Time for the Admin to start leaking "colored" information and find the moles (from other episodes), and prosecute them for treason.
- My guess is Signal et al, are quite difficult to break.
