Engineers and scientists have been trying to harness plasma for hundreds of years, Nikola Tesla being the first to do so to any large degree.
Once able to create a plasma at will, the next trick is to control it.
While these experiments were being conducted, a phenomena occurred that could not be explained. When the plasma was rotated, a force was produced. An anti-gravity effect, if you will.
A force that far exceeded the input power. Over-unity, in magnitudes order of power. Newtonian/Einsteinian physics turned on it's head.

Think of it as ripples in a pond of different sizes of waves all culminating at one spot, in space and time to produce a giant wave or pulse.
