If you are on the fence about Trump. You are a fool. He has been a target for 8 yrs . Ask yourself why? That’s too much thinking for the anti Trump fools!

Megyn Kelly says ~"Now I am a walk barefoot over broken glass to vote for Trump supporter!"

This will put him over the finish line.
Trump is the closest thing to a Founding Father we have ever seen in politics in our lifetimes!

FINALLY. The INSTANT an Secret Service sees a threat. That should have triggered INSTANTLY protecting the President. They waited at least 40 seconds, then the 7 shots before returning fire.

I don't know. I certainly don't want to be called a "Conspiracy Theorist" (ROTFLMAO), but it seems to me that this is that old pattern... Where EVERY MISTAKE seems to LEAN in the same direction...

    1) It's like the guys with the SCOPES didn't scream "GUN" into their walkie talkies.
    2) They then waited for shots first. NOT 1, the the first 3. But a group of 3, a slight pause and 4 more shots fired. Then 1 shot takes this guy out. When they had the right to shoot to kill JUST for him CRAWLING around over there. (I want the RECORDING of that earpiece chatter).
    3) They FAILED to properly secure those other roofs.
    4) The female Secret Service Members. The one was making herself SMALL, another TRAILING BEHIND, BEING SMALL. 100% orthogonal to their training.
    5) The brought Trump to the Passenger Side of the vehicle... WTF, that was the side exposed to the crowd. Go to the drivers side, and guess what... They had MORE cover.

This is way too many mistakes.
And politically BIDEN's administration REFUSED to give Trump a Full Compliment of Secret Service. Likely they had the WORST team ever assembled for that day (and that should be reviewed). Was it "coincidentally" beginners Training Day? Sure feels like it.

    But that's just me...

Last night someone on Fox News mentioned that D.E.I. is to DIE for when it's applied to the Secret Service.

My deceased friend who spent 20+ years at Ford (FMC) said "Since day 1, I called it DIE because that's what the company would do"

He also suggested that DIE was designed to masked/protect the IDIOCY of the younger generation. The example he used was the Electric Pickup Truck. He raised his hand early on in a company meeting and ask "What's the distance to tow weight curve look like? And how does extreme Cold impact that?" (Being in Michigan).

My buddy was one of the smartest people I knew.
        I miss him dearly!

          Sorry for your loss.
Somehow you awakend a memory of it not long ago being in the news about colleges being asked to provide safe rooms for offended wimpy students.

Kennedy's "protection" also made way too many rookie mistakes.
History doesn't repeat itself, but it sure does rhyme.
Trumps is 6'2", you don't hire people who are 5' nothing to be body guards.
And you certainly don't keep people who cower under fire.
      Diversity! My @$$

I was tickled afterward, viewing a number of videos from young men who declared they had been unsure about who to vote for, but Trump's response convinced them he had the strength of a real leader. To put it the way one young TikTok poster said, "he's the most gangsta President anyone could want. When he came up after getting shot, he was spitting in the tiger's eye."

"Shooters" Never shoot the Bad, they ALWAYS shoot the good; therefore they must be EVIL.

The problem is this: who defines "evil"? From our perspective, i think we'd include virtually everyone in the MSM, most politicians and their entire staffs, a bunch of Hollyweird elites, and millions of idiots in several costal cities.

But from all of their perspectives, you and I are evil. Trump IS the anti-Christ, the epitome of evil. Maybe Dr Evil himself.

So while I fully agree with you about the good aways being shot, from their self-deluded perspective, it's the bad guys going down.

And that's a disease for which I don't think there is a cure for.

And I think that's the main point, Carl. I think most Americans can't grasp that level of evil, because we started out as an honest and just country, untainted by feudalism. We weren't conditioned by centuries of blindly obeying orders from unaccountable higher-ups.

Joel C. Rosenberg wrote a superb 5-book series about the end times (The Last Jihad series).
In it, there is this wonderful character named Dr. Eliezer Mordechai, former head of the Mossad, who had this to say:

“The problem with you Americans is that you don't believe in evil. A man like Saddam Hussein, for example. Saddam tells the world for years that he has a territorial claim on Kuwait. Builds up his armed forces. Develops weapons of mass destruction. Moves troops to the border. Signals everyone he's going in. But all the boys and girls at the CIA and DIA say Saddam won't do it. Just saber-rattling. Just flexing his muscles. Couldn't possibly invade. Why would he? It would make no sense. It would be irrational. No arab nation has ever invaded another arab nation. Why start now? Saddam was painting us a road map, and you simply didn't believe he'd start the car and take the trip. Saddam Hussein was not a lunatic and in that case, he wasn't a liar. He was rational and calculating and evil. So he told the world what he was going to do – commit an act of evil, not an act of madness – and then he did it. It took a bunch of highly paid analysts with Harvard degrees to completely miss the simplicity of the moment.”
“I believe the terrorist is both capable and prone to acts of unspeakable evil, and you don't. I'm right, and you're wrong. It's not because I know more than your government. I don't. I know less. But I believe that evil forces make evil people do evil things. That's how I anticipate what can and will happen next in life. That's how I got to be the head of the Mossad, young man. And why I'm good at it. It's going to be one hell of an August, and my country is going to suffer very badly because your country doesn't believe in evil, and mine was born out of the ashes of the Holocaust”

I have a long time friend, that when I messaged him about the assassination attempt, all he had to say was:

"So, they nicked his ear. Too bad they missed. Did I say that out loud? I’m sure Bernie Sanders, Al French, or Ross Perot would gladly put their names in the running. They still might when Trump goes to jail. And you thought Uncle Joe was bad!".

It's taking all I have to not end a friendship of 50 years, but my position has always been to not let politics run my life.

I would have told him to have a nice life a long time ago. Today I am intolerant of those on the far left. Eventually they do or say something that effects the rest of your life.

When i moved here I walked into a Subway Sandwich Shop, on a coffee group of old retirees, February 2016, before Trump was the only news issue going on. The guys looked at me, dressed up clean, and thought I was a narc, or a "fu))ing" liberal from Seattle. One guy openly stood up and made a loud comment that if I was, I could just leave and not come back. I played along, apologizing to the group, and I walked out the door. Then I came back in, did a little dance, and told them I was just "sh))ting" them, that's the main reason I moved away from Seattle. They accepted me and I still attend coffee twice a day, 7 days a week.
