"In a move aimed at Donald Trump, House Democrats have introduced a bill that would remove Secret Service protection for any former executive sentenced to prison for a federal or state felony.
The bill comes from Democratic Mississippi Rep. Bennie Thompson, who, in a fitting Deep State overlap, is not only the former Jan. 6 committee chairman but also the ranking member of the Homeland Security committee. Introduced Friday, HR 8081 has 8 cosponsors [conspirators] so far -- all Democrats.
...
“It is regrettable that it has come to this, but this previously unthought-of scenario could become our reality,” said Thompson -- as if he and his comrades don't want that reality more than anything on Earth. "

D.C. NIFO
we no longer punish treason
it ended when Nixon would not go after hanoi jane
he did not do so because of who her dad was
and it was a mistake
Me dino cannot realistically foresee that revolution our Founding Fathers predicted would have to reoccur from time to time.
Too many now walk around with iPhones in their faces having their heads filled with duplicitous Schiff.
Side note: I just picked up an awesome slide rule in a leather case at a second hand store for four bucks and found an abacus at the same place a few weeks ago. I figure I'd build them into a case with the sign "In case of power failure, break glass" LOL! Of course, you'd nearly have to be a senior citizen to even understand what that means.
i'v forgotten how...
40 to 50 years ago I had correspondents in the Philippines.
"I voted against Marcos,
my friends and family voted against Marcos,
my colleagues and everyone voted against Marcos.
When results came out it was- Marcos, 100%."
What is the mood of America today? Surely a vote now or six months further on would be a resounding win for Trump. It is not just policies but mainly it is emotion, character.
Consider, what the polls show, now, and in six months. --
This is a serious macabre topic, but humor cannot be avoided.
There will be much discussion on poll accuracy, statistics and confidence intervals and sampling errors. All good and correct.
The vote takes place, massive rallies and displays of support for Trump, emptiness from Biden. People left to right, up and down vote for Trump.
The results come out: early figures show Biden victories, big numbers come out, all decided Biden victories, the final result is massive majority for Biden. Biden has more votes than any previous candidate ever, more votes than registered Democrat electors, more votes than can be counted as Biden ballots still flood in after closure.
Life goes on as before, decline, war, defeat, the winners are maybe China dictatorship, or Islamic dictatorship. Losers are the US, the West, middle classes, the poor, freedom of speech, prosperity, or maybe just the new ascendancy of AI machines with a few humans in zoos, which may well happen anyway.
If it gets cancelled and Trump gets shot, he can’t lose (if he makes it), and whoever else can’t lose if he doesn’t.
Guess he is just an actor, not a role model. Eastwood on the other hand, is a tough cookie.
