Questions concerning the appointment and removal of military leadership

During the admin of President Obama, a number of generals were removed from military service.
depending on where I look the number varies, maybe it is 170, maybe 197.
What is the exact number? and
How does that number compare with that from other administrations?
Does the number reflect undue political/cultural influence on the military? Or, is the number misleading as the true level of interference was more/less than the number of dismissals indicates?
What if any are the long term implications?

do they really think their pensions will have any worth when it all falls apart????
as they sit on their hands, not keeping their Oaths???
0bama was removing those that would not follow his dictates, those that might keep their Oaths
Like trans personnel?
Putin has long pointed out he does not allow trans personnel in his ranks, it harms moral.
He looks upon the US military as weak for allowing it.
He's not wrong.
Recruitment is down, way down. Any wonder why?
And guided some of Trumps advisors to pick people easily controlled by the jerkoff-driblet.
I am optimistic to believe, there is a difference, a matter of points, not a knock-out.
Are the figures significant for the US army? Or the military of other nations?
I've come across a report that Trudeau had a big sacking session in Canada's armed forces, the main excuse was 'sexual indiscretion'!
he is certainly a liar, a traitor, an il-legal alien that should never have been allow near the oval office
General Miley and Navy Secretary Carlos DelToro are CLEARLY spending considerable time grooming masculinity and nationalism out of the armed services. This is absolutely for sure.
