Godzilla Minus One

Just watched this movie on an IMAX screen this afternoon and my kids and I absolutely loved it. It's our favorite Godzilla movie and we're long-time serious fans. This movie is beautifully filmed and takes place in post WW2 Japan. It's in Japanese with English subtitles. There was a family sitting behind us and they were Russian. Spoke with the father after the movie and they really struggled to understand either language - haha. This is an excellent movie and I encourage you to see this on the big screen. As I explained to my kids...many of the concepts that make this movie so great are, likely, above the average American's head. American's want all-female superhero teams and a spiderman of color along with lots of CGI and high-flying human bodies.

I thought of my grandfather watching this movie. He had battled Kamikaze pilots in the Pacific and went into post-nuke Japan. There's a very good, deep anti-war message in this movie - subtlety delivered. The scenes of a destroyed Japan and of a nuclear blast are pretty powerful.

"Americans" don't want "all-female superhero teams and a spiderman of color ".
(I realize you were just parroting the media rubbish, Abaco. Not on you.)
Hollywood's Deep State brainwashed LGBTQ anti-white anti-male writers and
(non-)producers want to force such irrational rubbish on "Americans."
Instead of going to see anything on a big screen, "Americans" should collect
their dog and cat droppings and mail them to the Hollywood studios as
commentary on the utter crap they try to force on us.
I suggest starting with perverted Disney.
Bury them in crap instead of them burying us.

LOL… This movie has moments that are beautifully filmed and acted. There were maybe a dozen people in the theater on the opening weekend. This is another fantastic work of art that will fly under the radar here…

LOL... Yeah, he's pretty tough, though. I thought this movie gave the franchise a big "reset" back to it's origins. I really enjoyed Godzilla 2014, but much of the Big Guy's movies have been shallow, gooofy...Americanized like sushi has. Director Yamazaki deserves major accolades for this one...
