Another Back-door Attack on our Land [and not just vacant land)

There is a new government proposal that Glenn believes is "horrifying." The SEC proposal would allow for the creation of a new type of company called a "natural asset company," which could buy up land to use natural processes — like the generation of fresh air — to write off carbon emissions. Utah Treasurer Marlo Oaks joins to explain what he believes this would mean: "It will permanently stop economically essential activities like grazing, mineral extraction, modern agriculture ... we're basically talking about the destruction of rural America."

This means that a company could buy any national park, any state park, any private land to offset carbon emissions. The land would become essentially locked up for only that use and no other. Goodbye farming, goodbye weekends spent camping, hiking, any land use at all. This piece of insanity has no business being listed on the Stock Exchange, yet is being fast-tracked. Goodbye freedom, hello serfdom.

The big reason the SEC is involved is because these so-called "companies" want to gain an investment mechanism via the stock market in order to enable large hedge funds like Blackrock to "invest" in them without having to disclose these investments to their clients. It's shadow investment with 100% nefarious purposes.

This is scary, tightening the vise. At least government was supposed to be benevolent criminals. Now are they killing the goose? That's us, the people who pay them, work for them, support them. We the people are the gold.

Gold has no choice in its fate, it is extremely valuable in addition to its extreme malleability. We, on the other hand, have a say in our fate. But once the water boils, we are the frogs, the gold, the mud beneath their feet. It IS scary to see how little the majority understand and how much the elite swamp creatures have already raised the heat in our melting pot.
