My first love was fishing. Now, I am doing this at this very mystical body of water. No, I'm not in this video, as far as you know, but this is what I do...

For years I wouldn't fish Lake Ontario, but the water quality there has improved to the point I've joined a few charter salmon and lake trout fishing expeditions. The catch has been great! This past summer I picked up a fishing kayak mostly to enjoy kayaking with the kids and grand kids, but now that I'm used to it I'll try fishing with it along the wetlands and tributaries of south western Lake Ontario and the finger lakes regions of western NY next spring and summer.

You bet. Where I'm fishing more lately is very, very clean water - up near the top of the mountains. Will be 30 degrees there tomorrow. Getting in a little fishing before the freeze comes in for the season. When it does...back out to Pyramid. Pyramid is a very special place, as this video mentions at the end. I treat that huge body of water with a ton of respect...similar to how I treat the Paiutes there.

If you've a mind and time, could you test those waters for PH? Anything 7.0 and up is ok. I'm looking for 7.3 to 7.6 water sources. These areas may show a "litmus" for general health over time.

If you are buying bottled water make sure you look into reviews on acidity, mineral content, etc. Most of this crap is alarmingly harmful.
